That is worth stating plainly because thirteen miles sounds further than it drives when it is a single road you are already on.

Armstrong Park is the village anchor — pickleball courts, sand volleyball, baseball fields and the paved loop past Purple Martin Island. Slepicka Homestead Park keeps the old farm silo and the community garden plots, which is an unusual thing for a village that grew as fast as Carol Stream did.
