Thirteen miles west. One of fewer than 100 Ford dealerships in the country to hold the True Blue Award in back-to-back years, with the inventory depth to stock the configurations most lots have to order.
Hinsdale buyers tend to arrive having already done the work. The vehicle is usually decided. What is still open is who to buy it from — and that is a harder thing to research, because every dealership website says the same four things.
So here are the two claims we make that can be checked by someone other than us.
Ford Motor Company's own recognition, awarded to dealers who perform across five separate parts of the business in the same year: Sales Effectiveness, Ford Protect, RIM Support, Remote Experiences and Ford Credit. Fewer than 100 of roughly 2,800 U.S. Ford dealerships qualify in a given year — about the top 3.5% of the network. We earned it twice running, and the award letter called it "an incredible achievement."
2021 through 2026. This is the more useful one, because J.D. Power has no commercial relationship with Ford. It surveys people who actually bought vehicles and measures the purchase experience against a national standard. One year is a good quarter. Six is a way of operating.
Alongside that: 4.7 on DealerRater across 3,196 reviews, and 4.7 on Google across more than 4,100. We would rather point you at four independent sources than ask you to take our word for anything.
Fair Oaks Ford is about thirteen miles from Hinsdale — roughly twenty-two minutes, either straight out Ogden Avenue or via I-88 west to the Naperville Road exit. There are Ford dealerships considerably closer, and if what you want is a common configuration sitting on a nearby lot, that is a perfectly sensible way to buy a car.
The drive makes sense when the specification matters.
The higher up a Ford range you go, the fewer examples exist in any one place. Platinum and King Ranch F-150s, Expedition Max in the upper trims, Explorer ST — these are the configurations that a smaller lot orders rather than stocks, because tying up that much floorplan on one unit is a decision most stores will not make repeatedly.
Carrying more than 900 new Fords changes that math. It is the practical reason a Hinsdale buyer ends up here: not a better price on a common truck, but the loaded example actually existing so you can sit in it, drive it, and take it home the same week rather than waiting eight to twelve on a build.
Call (630) 793-4660 before you drive over and we will tell you exactly what is on the ground in the trim you are after, and quote your payment over the phone so the numbers are settled before you arrive.
Full-size three rows. The Max adds meaningful cargo length behind the third row.
136+ sold a year. Available AWD, ST performance trim and a hybrid option.
247+ a year, including PowerBoost Hybrid and the Platinum and King Ranch trims.
All-electric, with home-charging guidance for a Hinsdale garage.
One of the larger regional allocations, 2-door and 4-door.
Factory-backed warranty and a 172-point inspection.
Lease and APR programs change every month, so live figures sit on the specials page rather than here where they would go stale.
Straight answer: for routine maintenance, thirteen miles each way is a real cost, and there are competent options closer to Hinsdale. Where we are worth it is on warranty work, recalls and anything diagnostic — the jobs where the technician's familiarity with the platform decides whether it is fixed once or three times.
Ford Pickup & Delivery and Ford Mobile Service cover qualifying maintenance within our service area. Call (630) 793-4680 with your address and we will tell you plainly whether you are inside it. We also keep 30+ loaner vehicles for anything that stays overnight.

Hinsdale keeps its history better than most villages its size — the historic district around Village Hall on Chicago Avenue, the Hinsdale History Museum on Clay Street, and Graue Mill just east in Oak Brook, an 1849 gristmill and a documented stop on the Underground Railroad that still grinds corn.
Naperville has its own version of that: Naper Settlement, the Riverwalk and a downtown that is minutes from our lot. If a vehicle is with us for a few hours it is a better way to spend them than a waiting room.
